Warhammer 40k

I've been bombarded by videos of the subject on social media. What is big difference?
I've known the universe for some years. Played some games. Never went for the table top or books, just kept on with some lore from other media.

What changed the view to 40k? Was it only the Space Marine 2? Cavil?

@Alfarrobas I think it's a lot due to clever marketing and some fanworks getting wider traction. Stuff like Alfabusa's Emperor Gets a Text to Speech Device and Syama Pedersen's Astartes series.

Personally I got into it after stumbling upon the Ultramarines movie sometime in 2015-2016 and reading ALOT of fanfiction.

I see many shorts clips on YouTube, but never get the full lenght videos or movies

@Alfarrobas To the best of my knowledge there was only one full length movie which is the Ultramarines one which I watched on a flight. You might try a streaming site.
