But I think open mindedness is just seeing another perspective but not having to accept it , maybe take the good out of it.

Being open minded also has to do with accepting or being tolerant of sexuality, religion, culture, political affiliation, music, etc. One can't be open minded if they are only liberal about sex. Its just one of the things. Also being obsessed with something doesn't make one open minded. Its the opposite of being open minded
