Being open minded also has to do with accepting or being tolerant of sexuality, religion, culture, political affiliation, music, etc. One can't be open minded if they are only liberal about sex. Its just one of the things. Also being obsessed with something doesn't make one open minded. Its the opposite of being open minded

@Temminck That is definitely NOT being open minded, isn't it? If one is open minded, one will be accepting of the other person opinion on the subject. Empathy is a part of being open minded.
