Is there something wrong when you don't want to interact in conversations with people no more ? Do you think its anti social ? Rude .
It's like I've no interest.
And one reason as well . I sermed to be always the one who being trying to start the conversations with people , so i said to myself . Don't say nothing . Don't interact and see do they start the conversation. They usually don't.
So i said to myself . Im not starting either .
Im sick and tired of pushing myself the extra mile .
And do you know what happens when i don't? I get a bit depressed . I don't know to stay with the feeling or not cause usually the depression kicks in and whats the fear behind that .
I'd end up on my own .
Sure im mostly on my own for the larger sum of my life . Do you see how the mind can play tricks , very subtle way .
Then i starts surrendering to it and there no fight left . .
A person said to me years ago when i was about 18 and he said your one odd person and i was very happy in myself when he said that .
It's usually other people's views , labels .
Trying to fit in with people is a way to stressful .
If they say thats isolation , well im fine with that
. Whats your views ?

At our age we just do not care about "fitting in".
For socializing, that requires more energy than what some of us even have.
Less socializing, less drama.

But yeah you are normal.

@riseofthemachine [quote]expectations of others , would end up leaving you soulless..
You'd loose yourself in the middle of it all [quote]

I heard it said that if we cut away a little piece of ourselves to please others, eventually there will be nothing left.

@Punches It's taken me 12 years to get back to any part of normality, after the break up .
A friend said me " You'll be believing in God now "

People can be a c#nts. Especially my family. I don't want to talk with most people either. Mainly since I work in Aged Care with Dementia patients; it takes a lot of focus and energy to look after them that I need my 'me time' when I have my days off. Or at least be with people who aren't self absorbed drama Queens who wish to drag me down just for sport.
So I spend a lot of time on SW...
