Do not stand
By my grave, and weep.
I am not there,
I do not sleep—
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning's hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry—
I am not there,
I did not die.

@Ferise1 Maybe so.. An older relative of mine held that his only afterlife would be real as long as he lived in the memories of those he cherished. In that sense he still lives. And I can work with that..😷

@OlderSometimesWiser there’s nothing after that. We all know that you’ve just been brainwashed by religion.
@Ferise1 Lol….. we all know? I’m not religious in the least. So much for your certainty about things.
And I stand by what I said.
And I stand by what I said.

Nah, truth is we don't know either way.
What we do know is those we leave behind will miss us a lot.
There's only one way to know find out what happens after death, and I'm in no hurry to find out.

@basilfawlty89 you’ve been brainwashed by religion
His common sense to know that nothing happens

@Ferise1 how am I brainwashed?
I'm literally saying there is no empirical evidence either way.
The only way to find out what happens if you die is to die. I'm not planning on dying anytime soon.

Duality... They are gone.
You are still....here.
