Have your first impressions about people been proved to be correct over time?

It's sort of a subtle feeling, like I can't generally describe why I seem to dislike women who seem childish or something. But with that one woman I seemed to judge about this, things changed as soon as I got to know her character and especially her past.

So I seem to rather look for where people come from past-wise and not where they go to.

First impressions are based on the initial few seconds....


It may or may not reflect the true character of a person.

This is my opinion.

Ask some tough questions and see how they respond...

Sometimes. You cant really judge someone completely based off first impressions though. You dont know how their days going or what their dealing with before hand.

But if you have a bad feeling about someone then they prove you right, it might be best to avoid them when possible.

I've learned that I am a very poor judge of character.

A lot of times I'm wrong

Oh God yes and not in a good way either, a lot of people nowadays seem to leave a negative first impression
