I am. Yes.
I invite differing opinions because I don't believe in a world where there is only 1 truth ..besides the universal truths no one can refute.

I've always believed that everyone is perfectly entitled to be wrong.

I don’t really think I have any say in the matter. lol As the world becomes more volatile and people more addicted to outrage every day, opinions that were once debated (often with a sense of enjoyment) have become beliefs that, when not shared, determine one’s enemies. Those folks scare the bejesus outta me, but with those who aren’t radicalized yet, I enjoy hearing their thoughts.

That is for me at times situationally difficult. Mostly yes, but when a person rants on about something that is patently wrong, I sometimes am unable to not at least state the facts.
Caraxes · 41-45, M
I maybe guilty of not standing up enough for myself when other do have their own opinion.
I’m always open to opinions of others in some situations if my opinions differ I will speak up others I’ve been a coward

@Caraxes I'm like that in person. When people start sharing opinions that piss me off, or stand in direct contradiction of the facts, I stuff it way down deep.
Hard for you to imagine, I'm sure.

@LordShadowfire not hard for me to imagine at all
LordShadowfire · 46-50, MVIP
@Caraxes I honestly vent on the internet, because I deal with people like that all day, and I haven't figured out how not to stuff.

I have no choice in the matter -- other people can be as incredibly, insanely misguided as they want to be, I can't make them change. :)

I enjoy diversity.
Absolutely 💯

It's going to be a very distraught life if you can't...

Dangerous, indefensible conservative opinions killed the ecosystem while you made me get along with my enemies.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Dang this is real.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Absolutely. There is so often more than one way to be right. Thye trick is to avoid being wrong.. And in the case of stupid things, like believing gravity is optional, sometimes the best you xab do is detach yourself from these people. But you still have to allopw them to qualify for a Darwin award. Thats how nature evolves..😷
dontbekoi · 36-40, F
@whowasthatmaskedman I have read many of your comments (on this site) and you are never argumentative. You are fact based and unemotional 👍
I must admit, I enjoy a healthy debate. Even if I am wrong (and I often am) at least I learn from it. So many people I know in R/L are either not interested in a conversation with opposing views or they are steadfast in their beliefs - even when they have been proven wrong. I hope I never get to that point. You have to stay flexible - which I am finding difficult as I age.

@dontbekoi I hear you ans of course I hold my own opinions on things. But only by being open to hear others can we learn and grow. It is an effort at times.. But its worth it..😷
Iwillwait · M
That depends. Are you delusiona?
bijouxbroussard · F
Admittedly, with some topics more than others.
dontbekoi · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard Me as well. It's difficult to walk away, figurately and literally.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I am okay with people not liking me in silence
LordShadowfire · 46-50, MVIP
Depends on the opinion. If you think pineapple pizza is okay, and I think it's an abomination, we can have play arguments about it, but I really dgaf. If it's your "opinion" that people who refuse to get vaccinated and basically serve as incubators for the next mutation of COVID should be allowed to do so, I don't know what to tell you.

Yup...,
Over the years I've learned how to dismiss people as if they were an unwelcome fly at my picnic.
Most times a shooing is enough to free me of them.
Other times it takes a a smack or swat to let them know how little their opinion means to me.
Fuck 'em !
