What's the nicest thing someone ever did for you?

I was alone on a train in LA, crying, and this young man in a hoodie never said a word, reached over and handed me a tissue and I never saw him again.
I never saw his face and I don't know why such a simple gesture touched me that way but I still think about it to this day.

lots of people have done nice things for me....but i'm forever grateful to the person who gave up their cat...my pride and joy

I was lost in a strange city and I got of my car and started crying haha
A nice man offered me to follow his car to my destination. It was totally out of his way and I never forgot that kind gesture.

Hmmmm. I was named a beneficiary in an estate which I never expected.

My mother gave me a house.

My husband loved me whilst I wasn't being to loveable

Helped me out when no one else would or could.

Remembered my birthday.
They probably didn't and saw the notification on Facebook.
They did mention it which was nice

Wow, there are so many people have done for and I have done for many.

This spring we and my wife gave a stranger a ride to Chicago from form northern Wisconsin. Just so they can be with their daughter.

Well that's the story we were told.

I had friend give me 2,000 dollars so I can save my house. I tried to pay them back and they got mad at me and said that was a gift.

It's hard to explain, but I made a talk seven years ago. A lady was so influenced by it that she asked for a copy and then had someone do a wonderful piece of art, calligraphy of the theme and part of the talk, itself. She gave it to me this year. It hangs in a place of honor in my home office. My goof friend and golfing buddy says, "It's amazing that somebody actually listens to you."

I have a lot to tbh.. but one that always sticks out is when I was pregnant and showing, this lady who works at a Chinese take-out place used to overstuff my container where it practically wouldn’t close and tell me my baby needs to eat too used to make me almost want to cry lol

One that I remember - When I was recovering from a big surgery the Surgeon came to the hospital on Sunday morning to process my discharge....I was so surprised since I knew he lived outside the city, I thought for sure I'd be stuck there until Monday....

Put a down payment on my first house. I was gobsmacked

My friend had inherited a large Victorian across the street from Golden Gate Park, and he and his partner were renting rooms to some of their friends. I was ready to move from my parents’ home when the building of the new apartment had caught fire. No permanent damage, but delays of a couple of months.

My parents and I were driving each other nuts.
I was considering moving into a hotel until the apartment was ready. My friend said, "Come stay with us instead. I work near your job, so I can drop you off and pick you up."

He drove down to my parents’ house in the South Bay picked up me and both of my belongings and took me to his home. He had cleared a room on the top floor with a bed and dresser. It had a blue skylight, and I tried to pay him for my time there, but he refused, saying, "you’re going to need your money, you’re coming from your folks’ house. Apartment living is always more expensive than you imagine."

When i was about 12 my uncle felt sorry for me as only my brother had holidays. So he and his wife took me to he seaside for a lovely holiday.

My cousin sent me $500 one time just for the heck of it that was pretty nice

My parents never argued in front of me or my sister.

My gf in high school decided to give birth to our Son

Tried to kill me.
