What does "a Karen" mean?

Just read an article in a newspaper regarding a court case where the judge took exception to somebody describing a woman as "a Karen" - obviously her name wasn't Karen.

This must be a thing but never heard it before. What does it mean?

Really? Youve never heard that? A "karen" is an obnoxious entitled woman.

The kind of woman screams at you for walking on the wrong side walk.

A woman who doesnt like your dog so pretends to be bitten by it.

Those who protest passionately but dont understand what exactly thier protesting.

@GuyWithOpinions Most people complain when someone walks on the wrong side of the walkway. You can't just tack that onto someone called Karen.

Everybody likes dogs where I come from, including all of us whose name happens to be Karen.

Oh, and there is no such word as "thier".
