Is it ok to pee in the sea?

What's the big deal? Urine is 95 per cent water, but it also contains sodium and chloride ions – the same chemicals that make seawater salty. In fact, urine contains a lower concentration of these ions than the sea, so by weeing into it, you are making saltwater ever-so-slightly less salty.

I think it’s actually mandatory.

@Harmonium1923 Just ask any fish, right?

Whales and sharks do it

Feels good to pee in the ocean. The waves moving you back and forth. Also the ocean is a combination of a lot of things. A pool to swim in, a toilet for sea life and sometimes for us to use, a home for all sea life, a transportation system for all ships, and anything else that you can think of 🙂

Yes it’s fine to pee in the sea,

You can usually tell when someone is they go from moving around a lot, to almost still as they pee, then back to being lively lol

I do it when I’m in the sea

I dunno -- I figure, if in doubt, ask a fish; I'm pretty sure they would know the answer.
