Not just leadership, but an entirely different system, End the parties, end the sesame street voting, brought to you by the letter D and the letter R as well as the number 2, retire all past party trained politicians, and start voting for individuals, with the ability to think for themselves while working with many other individuals, towards what is best for our nation and people rather than party platforms and agendas.
That should, in time, at least tone down the insanity level hyperpartisanship that is causing all the psychoses. And if you actually look into it rather than merely go by what party mouthpieces claim, while being a big change, it is completely doable.

Of course, it is doable if we stop worshiping the Constitution and replace it to address present day need. American society today is a whole lot larger and operating immensely faster than the one cobbled together 250 years ago in 1776.

I am not influenced by anything except the stinking unattended state of our country, and the US Constitution that forces me to surrender my rights to corruptible Americans every four years at state and federal elections.
To get better leadership we first have to figure a way to neutralize the influencers.

Leadership of any kind would be nice. But even more America needs "Followship".. That the population accept the decision of the leaders even if it means they take a hit personally for the good of all and the nation. Americans are really bad when it comes to consequences for them..😷
