Well, they supported the Iranian regime with billions in cash, reduced sanctions, and a similar idiology and common hatred of Israel. They'll definately side with the current Iranian government. The people of Iran know it and that's why they're taking this huge change with Trump at the helm. They feel this is their best chance for peace lest another POS dem get in office.
Its not how that works...its how its done they complain about. Most dems want violent criminals off the street...they dont want their maid, nanny , bagel shop , breakfast maker thrown in a van. Most dems dont want another iraq, thus why they fear what happened last friday.
