Abstract
A history of literature and views existing within the COC (Cultural and Recreational Center), the major Dutch organization of homosexual men and women, regarding pedophilia and its relationship to homosexuality are discussed, beginning with definite separation between the pedophile and homosexual identities andwith an abolishment of oppression towards pedophilia, for which the COC is in part responsible. The article argues that the homosexual identify is by no means a "constant" but a fluid identity, based on societal views and conditions. By accepting pedophilia, the COC hopefully will broaden the idea of the gay identity. ending

The Left’s Appalling Efforts to ‘Normalize’ Pedophilia

Some on the left have made a concerted effort of late to “normalize” pedophilia by twisting language and shifting concern from would-be victims to the pedophile himself. That’s a dangerous precedent everyone must understand and confront.

In a Nov. 8 interview with the Prostasia Foundation, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization purportedly dedicated to safeguarding kids, Allyn Walker offered various explanations and excuses for pedophiles—or as he calls them, “minor-attracted people.”

Walker, an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, said, “A lot of people when they hear the term ‘pedophile,’ they automatically assume that it means a sex offender, and that isn’t true, and it leads to a lot of misconceptions about attractions towards minors.”

Walker, the author of the book “A Long, Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity,” went on to explain the difference between a “minor-attracted person” and a pedophile by saying behavior should trump desire.

“From my perspective, there is no morality or immorality attached to attraction to anyone because no one can control who they’re attracted to at all,” Walker said. “In other words, it’s not who we’re attracted to that’s either OK or not OK. It’s our behaviors in responding to that attraction that are either OK or not OK.”

But that could easily become a slippery slope.

The interview garnered deserved outrage among conservative outlets, and Old Dominion University has placed Walker on administrative leave.

Who do you mean by "the left" here? As a leftist myself, I have not heard anyone actually advocating for this. I've only ever heard the right claiming this is a left position. If anything, the right has done more to protect pedos. Let's remember Roy Moore who was actually protected by the right. Or the calls by Republicans to allow child marriage.

(The Center Square) – The California State Assembly this week voted to revise the state’s penal code that regulates the registration of sex offenders by passing SB-145. The revision of the bill would allow pedophiles to not be registered on the sex offender list as long as they are not 10 years older than the minor they were convicted of molesting.

The bill, introduced by Sen. Scott Wiener 18 months ago, relaxes sex offender registry requirements for sodomy and other acts with minors to reportedly end “discrimination against LGBTQ young people on the sex offender registry,” according to Wiener.

Democrats prioritized a new bill that demands “person-first” language to address how violent sex offenders are labeled. The intent is to stop defining a sex offender by his or her crime, so they can destigmatize them. It may not even be the most offensive piece of the legislation.

Among the prescribed reforms, HB 2177 changes the name of the Sex Offender Policy Board (SOPB). If passed, it will now be called the Sex Offense Policy Board. It gives the dubious impression that the board reviews focuses on sex offenses, and not the criminals who commit them. HB 2177 also adds a convicted sex offender to the SOPB, with proponents arguing the felon’s “lived experiences” is “invaluable.” It does not restrict the membership to level 1 sex offenders, those who are least likely to recommit a sex offense. The bill allows the most dangerous felons, Level 3 sex offenders, to join. The sex offender will serve alongside another new representative to the board: victims of sex crimes.

How Pedophiles Are Being Normalized
Pedophilia as a recognized sexual orientation has gained relevance with a rising number of organizations and academics within the last decade alone.

“Attracted” softening it up seemingly like they would never act on their attractions and impulses. Yeah right, that’s pure BS right there.

Using a sneaky phrase like "Minor attracted person" instead of pedophile is kinda like using Elon Musk's phrase "rapid unscheduled disassembly" to describe a rocket exploding unexpectedly in midair. Makes it sound like something it isn't.

The left are weak.. they think numbers win the game, so they take in any stray group to boost the numbers..
