Democrats boycott DC restaurants because of National Guards
This is pathetic. 30% drop in revenues. Democrats are purposefully hurting innocent business owners because they do not like have the National guard on the streets. Many businesses are owned by fellow Democrats, but the progressive don't care. They will cut off their nose just to spite Trump.
You know, I used to BE a Democrat, before they got so nasty and crazy.
I am now a proud Independent voter, who voted for Trump THREE times...and I'll tell you, the Democrat/Socialist/Marxist/Progressive/ Agitator party is going to have to do a LOT of house cleaning before I would ever, EVER support a Democrat again!!!!
@DogMan JFK type Democrats are called Blue Dog Democrats, and they still exist. But, like many sane people, they are quieter than the nutcases we see on the news. My parents were Democrats, and they were VERY conservative.
I still remember how angry my father used to get over "DEI" hiring practices that excluded white men. Of course, they didn't call it "DEI" in those days.
When I go out for a meal, I like to look out at peaceful scenes of ducks gliding across a placid pond. I don't want to see armed thugs in masks arresting people for wielding unconcealed sandwiches. That gives me indigestion.
Perhaps Trump should employ more of his Black Shirts to round up unpatriotic diners and force them to spend their dollars in Pyong-washington-g.
@SumKindaMunster You brought up the additional point about tourism. I have explained that I was dealing with the first line of your post which is about the accuracy of the media sources referred to by Mr Dog. I did your research for you and found a credible source.
@carpediem Follow carefully the line of this thread. In the third posting (helpfully illustrated by a colour photo) I introduced the theme of Nigel Farage in response to Mr Munster's direct question as to why the topic of the original post interests me. Mr Munster responded with the humorous suggestion that Nigel Farage is "your new Prime Minister" to which you responded with a post questioning my sanity and appealing to the sense of the "regular person". I responded by pointing out that Farage may not be an exemplar of the "regular person" in the UK owing to his poor work ethic, aversion to paying taxes, and inexplicable devotion to Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
@SunshineGirl WTF does Nigel Farage have to do with restaurants in Washington DC? Deflect much? Maybe you need to stick with the problems of your own little island. God knows there's PLENTY going on there that is unappealing.
That's due to their extreme frustration since DemonRats have no political power whatsoever. So they throw the baby out with the bathwater. That's cool, America is boycotting DemonRats.
@SunshineGirl So you are implying that the entirety of the US tourism industry future can be gleaned from the data of an app that allows people to make no obligation dinner reservations?
