Every president appoints judges. Traditionally that’s because judges are supposed to be above partisan politics; however, imho we should probably dispose with that illusion, because it’s not really true. It would probably be more democratic if we switched to letting the people elect judges.

That happened to people after the J6 riots. Even the people that were outside, and never went into the capital, were thrown in jail for months and years. In 2020, no one was arrested that were just in the streets with signs. The people arrested in 2020 were burning and looting, which is much worse than anything the rioters did on J6.

Members of the Capitol police force were assaulted OUTSIDE the capital as well. And, unlike most criminals, they recorded themselves committing assault and battery and streamed to social media. Assault and battery is a crime both inside and outside the Capitol.
@JSul3 Things can change in government .. if not by executive order, which was how USAid was created, then it seems likely other means will be pursued.
Biden tried Executive orders for things than got overturned .. this isn't unprecedented.

USAID was established by acts of Congress, and funded by acts of Congress, also known as laws. Neither the President nor his unelected appointees has the power to repeal an act of Congress. Only Congress has that power. These simple facts shouldn't be news to anyone.

If government were a business, that had to rely on selling something, they would have been bankrupt decades ago. But when you collect free money in the form of taxes, you never have to be accountable for anything.
If a person gets a little busy one day, they just hire another person. Then another and another, until we just have bodies occupying space, and collecting a check.
