Are unelected judges against Democracy?

I always thought Judges were elected, but now I find out that Obama and Biden appointed
judges, and these are the judges that are stopping Democracy.

The last election was Democracy in action. We voted in people that would root out
corruption and fraud in the government.

Now we have Liberal activist judges doing everything they can to thwart Democracy.

Again, and again, Democrats doing the exact things that they "Accuse" the
Republicans of.

@DogMan says

Is this your way of telling us you know nothing about the federal judiciary??

The trouble with our conservative friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so.

@ElwoodBlues Hopefully Trump will appoint loads of Judges, to make it fair.

We have been hearing from Lefties lately, that Musk cannot do the things he is doing,
because he is not elected. Do you believe that?
@DogMan USAID was established by acts of Congress, and funded by acts of Congress, also known as laws. Neither the President nor his unelected appointees has the power to repeal an act of Congress. Only Congress has that power. These simple facts shouldn't be news to anyone.

@ElwoodBlues So you believe they should not be accountable to anyone?
@DogMan That is exactly what they want
@DogMan I never said that and people who try to put words in my mouth get boring real fast.

Their funding comes up every year. Both houses of Congress have to pass the funding bills, and the President has to sign them. Without the funding they are nothing. That's the form of accountability that most parts of government have. Again, this shouldn't be news to anyone.

@BrandNewMan Wow, now answering questions is bad behavior???
@ElwoodBlues 🤣 what a gas bag

@BrandNewMan Not a fan of facts. Got it.

@JSul3 Things can change in government .. if not by executive order, which was how USAid was created, then it seems likely other means will be pursued.

Biden tried Executive orders for things than got overturned .. this isn't unprecedented.
@BrandNewMan Nope. USAID was established by the 1961 Foreign Assistance Act and the 1973 New Directions legislation. JFK's 1963 EO merely helped things along.

It's also explained here https://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/PNABT558.pdf
Oh, wait, Mr Transparency, 卐LON, took it offline because it was contradicting his public statements🤣😂

@ElwoodBlues So are you saying USAID is above the law, and beyond reproach?

Their books and activities are off limits to the Federal Government?
