What do you associate with Norway?

@Abstraction Norway has it going on because it has honest and sincere leaders who actually use North Sea oil money for good things! They absolutely hate being called "socialist" because they are not. They are a constitutional monarchy with a collective system that insures the health, education, and welfare of every citizen.

@Oberon1 Agree totally. Instead of spending all the profits from mineral wealth on a handful of capitalists making profits in one generation they said - this mineral wealth (oil, etc) belongs to all future generations of Norwegians. So they built this fund that is set aside for the future.
9 of the top 10 countries on the Human Development Index are social democracies - and dumb people get confused because it has the word 'social' in it and call it socialism. USA and UK are NOT in the top 10. Norway is #1 in the world.

@Oberon1 You’re spot on with this. I spent time in a Norway and their government has a level of common sense that’s vacant in the governments of most other countries.
