Russia threaten grave consequences if Poland send tanks to Ukraine

Are we heading for World War III?
Germany need more time to think about it,
Is that a wise decision or not?
walabby · 61-69, M
Having decided to support Ukraine at the beginning, NATO has to be prepared to go all the way, whatever the consequences...
Russia threaten
They've been doing that since early 2022. Anyone still believes them?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Ferise1 Look who got banned 😁
Scarfface · 41-45, M
The situation is definitely escalating towards world war 3, we can only hope that Putin negotiates and backs down.
It's looking like it's going to be a very long war unless Ukraine can keep pushing back.
Germany may as well give tanks other countries have.
Scarfface · 41-45, M
@Ferise1 I totally disagree, maybe the fact that people want to distance themselves from Russia and take on more western values isn't how Putin and the Kremlin would want things to be, it's not aggressive.
Putin trying to force a nation of people to be russian by invading and destroying a country while killing countless innocent people is very aggressive.
You've quoted one person's views, there are many more views and the majority think that Russia are the aggressor.

If we are, I don't think Russia quite understands the shit storm that will be unleashed on them and they think the Ukrainians are tough, hold my beer...
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@spjennifer The US should address the Russian military and people directly and tell them that if they are stupid enough to use a nuke that we will kill every Russian on the entire planet without exception. Sometimes you have to refer to Zephaniah 1:2-3 to get idiots' attention.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@Diotrephes I wasn't even considering nuclear weapons as I hope no one is insane enough to use them. The combined might of NATO's troops and conventional equipment would overwhelm Russia's mostly antiquated and poorly trained Military pretty quickly. Russia no longer has the combined might of the USSR that they once had and much of their equipment is no longer viable to wage a large scale war against modern and well equipped countries of NATO. As an example, Russia's much touted SU 57 stealth fighter, Russia has a grand total of less than a dozen of them in service vs the 800 or so F-35's the NATO countries have so far, and that's not even counting the F-22's, Eurofighters, F-16's and F18's in large quantities that NATO has...

@spjennifer IMO, it's not a good idea to send people off to fight and die and suffer in foreign lands when there are other options for destroying the enemy. The US in under such an attack right now and for some reason people don't see it.

The attacks are eroding our infrastructure and wrecking our environment and society. They range from forest fires to flooding the country with foreigners to electing domestic enemies who are destroying the government. Our military manpower isn't that vigorous and there's none in the pipeline. How would we react if we lost a couple of aircraft carriers and nuclear subs? Our strength is our weakness.

What's absolutely NOT wise, is to back down. What' Putin going to do? Start WWIII? The US and NATO can't bak down. If we blink, then no country, is safe from Putin's tyranny.

Back in 1994, when the Ukraine dismantled it's Nuclear weapons (the world's third largest nuclear arsenal)...it did so under the premise of receiving protection and assurances from the United States, Britain and Russia.

What's the expression... Either we hang together or hang separately?
Khenpal1 · M
and what will Russia do ? 😂
Ferric67 · M
Russia needs to own that they couldn't beat the Ukraine
And collectively, let the world to continue to turn
OldMan70 · 70-79
Any indecision feeds Putin's beliefs that he can take over Ukraine with force.
He is counting on the rest of the world getting afraid of him if they keep helping Ukraine .
Why not send tanks? War can't be wrong.

yes, putin will go to war with nato
Germany need more time to think about it, Is that a wise decision or not?
if putin wasn't crazy (putin is batshit crazy) then negotiations would be the right decision

putin wants the war to continue. and more innocent people (soldiers and civilians) will be thrown into the war (they shall not grow old....)

I know you’re trying to make a point, and it’s adorable, but your argument appear to be stillborn. I wonder why?
