War no longer forges nations. It eats them.

Russia and Ukraine continue to fight. Russia is importing more migrants to fill labor shortages. When Ukraine stops fighting, they will have to confront the reality of having no women to birth children and no men to work. Empires and wars destroy nations. Empires lead to influx of other peoples, and wars make our governments import other peoples. Who wins?

The population collapse in Ukraine is a very real concern but 20 million Ukrainians fled the country rather than fight so it remains to see who comes back.

But as for the xenophobic "be afraid of the foreigners" nonsense you seem completely oblivious that Russia already has almost 200 ethnic groups and has for centuries. Lets not pretend it is a lily white ethno state or ever was.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Russia is importing all kinds of peoples. You know nothing about Russia and its problems with other peoples. Are you aware of what goes on in the south? Have you heard of Chechnya? Have you heard of Dagestan? Do you know about the ethnic and religious strife?

Russia wanted to be a big country. It spread its borders into the south and has to deal with ethnics. It did the same with other peoples in other parts of Russia. Things are what they are. I see no sense in importing others from around the world. Nor do the Slavs. Do you think they want to be replaced? This is what happens when there are no men to do the work. Russia is a mess. It has very high divorce rates and women are not having children. They now have fewer men to have children with.
@emiliya Actually it seems more and more I know more than you do which is kind of funny. A yes. Going to drag up 90s BS and pretend it is current.

Again, quit pretending Russia is just Slavs. That has not been true for about 1000 years. You are so desperate to be an American right winger you are trying to force white supremacist American conspiracy theories onto Russia. 😂

You make the LDPR look rational.

The call to defend Ukraine is no different from the call to defend Poland in 1939. Why defend a nation thousands of miles from your own, at great cost to your country? Was the destruction wrought upon your nations worth the effort to “save” Poland from the Germans?

@Bumbles
You would have preferred a Nazi empire in Europe?

She certainly has side-stepped (or should I say "goose-stepped") around that question.

@Bumbles “You would have preferred a Nazi empire in Europe?”

A fit and healthy Göring would have made a great leader.

The people of both Russia and Ukraine deserve peace and a sense of security.
@emiliya asks
What does Russia have to do with you? What does Ukraine have to do with you?

That's rather amusing, coming from a person who's always injecting her 2 cents to US debates over abortion, etc!!!

emiliya · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues Baby-murder in the womb affects us all. It is a venomous snake poisoning humanity.
@emiliya How does an abortion pill used in Texas affect you folks in Russia? Please be specific and don't give us fairy tales.

Are you Superman, here to save everyone from the villains of the world?

Who wins?

Tell that Putin, Emiliya. He's the one who started this war.

@ImNotHungry
If Ukraine really owned those nukes, they wouldn’t be asking for security guarantees, the nukes would’ve been the guarantee.

They asked for the security guarantees BECAUSE they were agreeing to give up THEIR nukes,

It would be no different if North Korea today asked for security guarantees if they agreed to give up their nukes while re-joining the NPT.

Rotten to the core is what you are.... I told you that I am not like you.

You are right about one thing. You certainly are not like me.

I don't resort to personal insults because I don't agree with your comments.

beckyromero likens wars to home invasions to obscure truth and make you not understand. What hope is there for this woman?
