May I answer this as a neoconservative Never Trumper? It‘s a deeply flawed and problematic deal regardless of who negotiated it or who’s claiming credit for its finalization. Alas, the Israeli government chose half measures over permanent solutions but that‘s their prerogative.

It's bad because Hamas will not be completely destroyed which means that fighting will break out again eventually and more innocent people will suffer.
Like Trump's first failed assassination attempt, this Gaza cease-fire is a staged event as well, that was set up for Biden's benefit as he exits, stage left... not for the benefit of Gaza.
Trump said a while back that his first day in Office, he will single-handedly end the war in Gaza. Biden made sure that war appeared to end while on Biden's watch, not on Trump's first day in Office.
I'd say, give it a week after Trump's Inauguration and Gaza will be right back to where it was 6 months ago and there's nothing Trump can do to stop it.
