What is the most arrogant thing you've heard someone say?

I was sort of friends with a dude I met on SW who was CONSTANTLY talking about how much better he is than literally everyone. I looked past it because when people talk themselves up like that, it's just a mask for how much they hate themselves. But I no longer talk to him, he started hurling judgment and insults upon me (even though I was always nice to him) so I dipped.

This is why I don't get close to anyone. They will ALWAYS turn on you eventually.

I was working with a group of kids, two of whom were very good at math, and one beat the other at some math related task they were doing. The other kid said “wow how did you do that?” He said “well I’m quicker and smarter than you”. He wasn’t joking. He was serious. Kid said stuff like that all the time and it made him difficult to like.

There's so many I've seen from the narc, hard to choose, but I'll go with "my intuition is so strong I know who you (everyone else) are". People they've never actually met even and have no clue who they truly are. 😄

Said by my dad after Mom and I spent 15 minutes explaining why one of his infamous ideas was going to backfire. (He went through with it anyway, and it turned out exactly like we said it would.)

I'm not sure if it's more arrogant or delusional, but I had this new coworker who I was training tell me she was going to end up on the Forbes 500 list one day.

I had gone to a pretty big business school, so I was intrigued and asked her what her business idea was. She then said she didn't know. And since it hadn't dawned on me yet how stupid she was, I asked her how she planned on making it on the Forbes 500 without a business plan, to which she also replied that she didn't know. After that I stopped taking her seriously.

Anyways, anytime I hear Trump talk about how he's going to make America greater than ever or how the Golden Age is here, it reminds me of her.
