Is FACT CHECKING something new being done on this site or has it always been done?

@SW-User This is terrible. It makes no sense to take a poll and then get reprimanded for your response. For the most part, I'm blocking a majority of newbies because they feel like bots and take up too much room in my feed. [big][/big] We're entitled to our opinion as long as we aren't hurting anyone. Geesh.

I'm sorry that you're totally done with the site and it had to come to this. I, along with MANY will miss your presence. It's such a shame because you're one of the best members, in my humble opinion.😔🥀

@MoonlightLullaby The responses to the poll weren't addressed. The one who posted the poll was reprimanded and notices sent to people who probably had either voted, replied or gave a response with a heart, etc...

@SW-User okay well what I was referring to was a user who said Admin said something to him about pedophiles and when they fact checked it there was no record of admin saying it.

I didn’t know anything about a poll about the new users.

I'm just not sure things were really exactly as put forward. I missed the whole thing.
As for admin.... I do know some things admin did on that poll one were deleted and redone. I can't prove it, but I saw the changes.
This is not my idea of a site I'd like to stay on.
Those notices showing up in my notifications makes no sense except admin want's to shame people they are not happy with.

@SW-User I understand where you are coming from.

@SW-User The platform here is much better, have to admit and it maybe coming here in the future, but they gave no warnings and suddenly you couldn't log on because they suspended your account.
They lied about the reasons to other members, as well ,telling them the person they kicked off had been repeatedly warned of misconduct when none was issued at all.

@Justmeraeagain I see.... this site seems to be heading in that general direction. And the warnings now being pasted to some profiles just gives me the impression of shaming the people and shutting them up.

@Northwest It's being done on this site by admins... about things they don't like being said about their site and themselves.... So, it's something more new happening.
I do not believe it's right to send out notices to other members when nuno and company "fact check" and discipline a user.

@SW-User I've never seen a fact check for anything not directly related to this site. I only see fact checks for a poll about new users here and something admins claim was never said.
Fact checking on this site is the last straw for me.
If I want to be fact checked... I want an ALL "fact based" site. This surely is not it.
