Is FACT CHECKING something new being done on this site or has it always been done?

When you have to guard yourself on a site full of opinions and such... A SOCIAL site... I walk away.

@MoonlightLullaby Fact checking on this site. One for a few comments that admin says was not right and was not good... something about what admin supposedly said... I'm still not totally sure what that one was about but people were sent notices in the notifications about what they did and all....
"This user has been warned due to multiple violations of our Terms of Service.
Reason: Spreading of false claims/rumors
Reason: Posting contents that are seen as illegal or crime in society
Your account has been limited for repetitively spreading false rumors, in claiming that "Admins demanded you be tolerant of Child Predators, or risk account Suspension". There is no record of any SW Staff ever saying this. Kindly provide evidence of your statements, using our Support Ticket system."

Another time, they fact checked a poll where people could give opinions about the new accounts and how that would make us end up buying VIP to keep blocking and muting new users. That was ridiculous...but some of got notices about that too.... and later... the notice disappeared and things changed. I can't PROVE that but hey...it's a damn opinion site...

My account is done in a few days. Getting that kind of stuff in my notifications is not cool and getting that worked up about a poll is just too much.

@SW-User This is terrible. It makes no sense to take a poll and then get reprimanded for your response. For the most part, I'm blocking a majority of newbies because they feel like bots and take up too much room in my feed. [big][/big] We're entitled to our opinion as long as we aren't hurting anyone. Geesh.

I'm sorry that you're totally done with the site and it had to come to this. I, along with MANY will miss your presence. It's such a shame because you're one of the best members, in my humble opinion.😔🥀

@MoonlightLullaby The responses to the poll weren't addressed. The one who posted the poll was reprimanded and notices sent to people who probably had either voted, replied or gave a response with a heart, etc...
