@Gloomy "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"
" A slogan popularized by Karl Marx in his 1875 Critique of the Gotha Programme. The principle refers to free access to and distribution of goods, capital and services. In the Marxist view, such an arrangement will be made possible by the abundance of goods and services that a developed communist system will be capable to produce; the idea is that, with the full development of socialism and unfettered productive forces, there will be enough to satisfy everyone's needs."
Sharing, compassion, equality are all words being added under the umbrella of Woke. The Republicans want to start with children and teach them to have no compassion for anyone that isn't wealthy or isn't working for someone that is.
What context are the sayings being used? It’s probably a play on words. They probably are referring to grooming kids saying they can identify as what ever you want. If you are a girl you can be a boy and if you’re a boy you can be a boy.
“You can be whatever you want to be” is woke? Actually sounds conservative to me. If you can be whatever you want to be, then it would seem that people who “want to be” poor should be ashamed of themselves. They must be poor because they made bad choices. Because they could have been something great if they had wanted to be.
@GlitterEater you think? what about a marxist thoughts? that would be even a more vile outlook. My look on life is God, Family, Country in that order. What's yours?
That's sick ( but not the cool kind of sick that the kids use these day). If teaching kids to share and encouraging them to be all that they can be is woke then I am glad I'm woke. And to any conservatives that think that woke is bad I challenge them to a Dodge ball game and I'll teach them what I learnt in school. Cheers!
@sunsporter1649 I think a parent ( perhaps just a concerned citizen) who apparently was verbally reading from a questionable text at a school board meeting in Austin Tx, was ushered out by authorities.
Technically, most Republican ideologies aren't built around sharing. And if someone wants to be an LGBTQ, socialist, non-Caucasian, there's a good cross-section of American Republicans who would consider those people to be sub-human.
@Mamapolo2016 I agree. It is...But considering those stated values are the direct opposite of practiced American values of grabbing it all, not giving a cr@p about anyone but yourself and pushing your relative merit above others by an accident of birth, I would say it works in this case. (Present company excluded, of course)..😷
