Most American mass shooters and domestic terrorists since the 80s, when they've had some kind of political motive, have been right-wing. The heyday of left-wing violence (Weather Underground, Panthers, etc.) is long past. When you consider Dylann Roof, the El Paso shooter, the Buffalo shooter, Timothy McVeigh...

In other countries the situation may be different. Countries like France and the UK have seen a large amount of Islamic terrorism, far more instances than the U.S. has ever seen.

@Roundandroundwego to address an issue (alleviate it) we must understand all components of the issue prior to proposing any remedies. Now we know who is committing the violence next we attempt to determine motivation of those actors. It’s a process to be rationally conducted carefully measured and steadily adjusted. Until harm is minimized and eventually eliminated to allow for constructive outcomes/future benefits
Some call it the scientific method applied to society/ human behavior

@Patriot96 such movements are conservative in their core messages certainly they are conserving what “political conservatives” (republicans) view as liberal or “far left” doctrine and “behavior” but the tactics being used are conservative (right wing) strategies.
