Most American mass shooters and domestic terrorists since the 80s, when they've had some kind of political motive, have been right-wing. The heyday of left-wing violence (Weather Underground, Panthers, etc.) is long past. When you consider Dylann Roof, the El Paso shooter, the Buffalo shooter, Timothy McVeigh...

In other countries the situation may be different. Countries like France and the UK have seen a large amount of Islamic terrorism, far more instances than the U.S. has ever seen.
