Since she couldn’t remember any details and had no witnesses why would she go after him 30 years later? It was her word against his and it fell apart . Maybe it was for the reasons you gave when it happened but still being afraid ? Come on. If it wasn’t libs pushing it, Why not file charges 16, 25 ,or 27 years ago ?

@bijouxbroussard This is so true. I understand their point, it is life, you can't deny it, but they don't seem like terribly altuistic people for born people. It's really has it's roots in misogyny.

She and my uncle also adopted two children in addition to the three they had borne, plus they fostered others. And they protested [b]executions[/b] in their state.

I didn’t agree with the politics of anti-choice, but I respected that they at least tried to "walk the talk".

I wonder if she would have been so so relaxed and eager to go to bed with her boyfriend if her young son had been killed that morning.?

I realize that there is an emotional attachment to her born son but I wonder if she did or ever will consider the fact that she actually did kill her child who was just as much a part of her as her born son is.

@JimboSaturn if that's an insult you have very thin skin. i do admire the ease with which you evade the question of the morality of destroying innocent human life. you're very skilled at that! not sure it's something to boast about but you've clearly spent time honing it and i wanted to acknowledge the accomplishment.

@GerOttman I didn't evade it. I believe the adult life and the lives of those it affects takes precedent over a cluster of cells.

Ideally I would prefer contraception, but the religious right in America has tried to limit that.
