Washington Commanders? Total bullshit

The most offensive part of their name was Washington.

Prior to the Redskin franchise caving to the woke agenda, Dana Loesch (a native American) reached out to several native American tribes and asked if they found the Redskin name offensive. An overwhelming 90% said no. Once again, lefties with no real skin in the game (pardon the pun) telling everyone else what to think and say.

This just in:the New Yorks Giants are going to change their name as it has been determined that it's hurtful and derogatory towards those suffering from pituitary disorders.😉

Nobody cares about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish name and logo - depicts Irish people as ill-tempered and violent

The [i][b]Redskins[/b][/i] logo and team name depicted a bunch of bad asses! It's time for them to change it back to what worked or add a tutu to their football pants! 🙄

My Alma Mater had the name of an Indian tribe as a mascot/team name. The white 55ish female university president decided that the name was offensive and a slur on the tribe. The tribal council and Chief wrote her a letter stating they were proud that the university named their tribe as the symbol for the school.
She said the tribal elders and chief were not sophisticated enough to recognize it as a slur. She went ahead and changed the name to the "Eagles".

Not long afterward I got my annual call to make a donation to the university. I told them to pound sand, I was a Huron, never was an Eagle.

The team were called Redskins for a long time, weren't they? So why change? Wasn't PC enough, I'm guessing.

Go through it and substitute them for the word "Redskins" and see how many would be OK for the names and logos for sports teams.

Just liberals canceling "native" Americans

The truth is that a poll showed most native Americans liked the name. I don't know that it's nearly as derogatory as some that stuck around....like that idiot the Cleveland Indians used....I think it was more about the nation's capital using the name than anything.....No one really cares too much about Cleveland or Atlanta.
