@jackjjackson I think the problem is career politicians. The first thing I do when someone announces they are going to run is to look up their history. A huge percentage have never had a real job of any substance. In 2016 it was Trump, Kasich, Ted Cruz, and a few others. Everyone but Trump, graduated from university and within a year or so got into office. They are careerists, not statesmen. They aren't as concerned with fixing anything, just making sure they can get reelected. I think we need to think past 2024, the changes in government might not bear fruit for decades, and poor decisions might not show up for decades.
