Blue voter, red portion of the state, more Dixie flags than you can shake a stick at, though the only Confederate flag waved at the end of the Civil War was this one:
Fantastic. Never heard that before but wow, what a way to excuse your intolerance and hatred...essentially you are saying you are better than those with whom you disagree and they don't deserve your respect or tolerance...you know what? Don't come here, we don't need more people like you....
@SumKindaMunster Yes I am better because I don't advocate for policies that make life for homeless people, workers, trans people or people of color worse. A disagreement on how to make society better would be alright but nothing Conservatives or even Democrats sometimes argue would improve the life of other people.
@Gloomy Well I have nothing further to say other than this is a defeatist and loser attitude and I am sorry you have been conditioned to feel that way.
If that is truly how you feel, why bother engaging at all? It's not like you believe anything will change....
@MasterLee Even as a dislikable figure... she still won the popular vote and only lost the presidency by a narrow margin. But I guess this time... you know, the 3th time... this red wave might finally materialise.
You sound like this guy:
Also, the world "awesome" in your previous post ... I don't even know what is awesome about it? You have a guy that doesn't respect the constitution, doesn't respect the branches of power,... pretty much doesn't respect anyone INCLUDING his own voters. But I guess you think it's awesome if he wins with a large majority. That says a lot about you.
@SumKindaMunster Here is their response from today's posting.
L.B. in Savannah, GA, asks: The Hill (a moderate right-wing source) reported a poll of 2,194 people by an organization called "Premise," that found in a Democratic field without Biden, VP Harris has 32% support while Hillary Clinton has 20%. I've never heard of Premise. The article doesn't say who commissioned the poll or how the respondents were weighted (things I've learned are important from you guys!). So is this legitimate? Does Clinton really have more support than Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) or Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg?
(V) & (Z) answer: Premise is not a political pollster, they are primarily a marketing firm looking for some cheap PR. So, that's a red flag right there.
Beyond that, we are at the point in the cycle that many poll respondents don't really know the non-famous candidates. And if you exclude Joe Biden, then it's not surprising that a fair bit of his support migrates to another moderate, longtime-Democratic-establishment-type candidate. We don't think Clinton's result means much of anything, or that she's a more viable candidate than Buttigieg or Newsom.
SW-User
Should not really comment from UK but Kamala Harris seems like an absolute light weight who speaks in platitudes worhty of a school debating society!!
@SW-User Yes, she is a lightweight. She’d suffer a serious “ beat down” politically from Clinton. Hillary whether you like her or not is of such a nature, very few can and will stand in her way. Kamala might but IMO she’d be brushed aside politically.
I don’t think Kamala will be happy having to play second fiddle to Clinton. Rest assured she has her eyes set on the Oval Office. And I would like to see the two of them debate each other. That would be awesome! Talk about a cat fight.
the rules are the same for both parties - if you pay your fee and register your candidacy, you can run for office.
I think the republicans had like 23 presidential candidates to start with, in 2016. most of them i'd never heard of. most of whom would have done a better job than trump.
@Northwest The article is on AOL, Dems prop up Harris, Clinton for 2024 if Biden doesn’t run: Poll Polling has shown that Democratic voters are tepid in their support of Biden, with many preferring another candidate to be the party’s nominee in 2024. https://www.aol.com/news/democrats-prop-harris-clinton-2024-212017557.html
@IM5688 A poll, conducted using a small sample of an equal number of democrats, republicans and independents, by a company that does not appear on the list of top 30 polling organizations in the US, and using its own list of smartphone app users, as opposed to a statistically valid cross section of the population. I'm sold 🤣
Do you MAGAs ever check facts? Or attempt to? Or want to?
@SumKindaMunster I wouldnt listen to me.. Those days are long past..Because you are right. My message for the average working American schmuck is doom and gloom. Every American owes the rest of the world over $70,000 as of right now for stuff their country has already consumed. Life expectancy is falling, as are education levels. There is a chance you will never see your children again each time they go out the door with more guns than people in the country and if you do make it to puberty you no longer have control of your own body as a woman. All this while people cant even agree on exactly how disreputable the leadership on either side is.. I would have emigrated years ago and I am sure you would have been glad to see the back of me. The feeling is mutual...😷
@BizSuitStacy So when the head of the executive branch goes:
"You are a congressman, somebody comes up and says: "hey, I got information on your opponent". Do you call the FBI?"
And the interviewer says: "If it comes from Russia you do.".
And the president, the guy that has been repeating: "no collusion" every step of the way goes: "Never in my life did I call the FBI. Give me a break."
Interviewer goes: "The FBI director says that needs to happen.".
President goes: "The FBI director is wrong."
... In other words... "no collusion", but "collusion" deff. super cool to do because it's cool when other people do it. As he so casually normalises the criminal situation: "They all do it, they always have.".
@BizSuitStacy He's accepting information from a foreign agency to sway an election... How is that not an active attempt of foreign interference into an elections with the colaboration of one of the actual candidates?
Even Donald himself was apperently really worried about it... That's why you find this executive order from 2018 as an apendix in the books concerning this toppic:
I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the ability of persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States to interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation, constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.
Practising what he preaches, was never his strong suit.
Next to that... the entire Biden thing, since you brought it up and all that. Was taken out of context my diffrent conservative outlets, including Ted Cruz his website. Snopes did an entire thing on it... and what is missing on all the conservative sites that want you to vote for them, are the links to the actual conversation, something that more honest brokers would provide gladly to proof their point. But a large part of the conservative movement in America doesn't check sources, because they are so used to listen to preaches then actual arguments. Just like you have 0 sources in your post, and expect me to just believe what ever you put in front of me. That's something you might want to consider when your clap your hands for supposed laziness. Espescially after being to lazy to listen to the source that was provided. Alas, I'm less gullible then you.

I have not heard this. Where did you get that from? I think it would be a very bad idea for the Democrats to run Hillary Clinton. She is too unpopular. The Democrats need to bring some of their young raising stars to the forefront, let them run for top offices.

@IM5688 Harris will never split from Biden. Thats political suicide. Clinton beat trump by over 3.5 million votes...and she could do it again......but then a dead rat could beat trump by 3.5 million votes.....at least. But her running again? Very small chance. Like zero.
@IM5688 I dont overestimate her. Just the opposite. Too many underestimated her before and she not only beat the traitor by 3.5+ million votes.....she completely hit every nail on the head when she predicted exactly what we'd get if we elected trump. She is a lot smarter and sharper politically than most will ever know.......or admit.
@Northwest That she did.. Not that she would have been a good President. Her line about "business as usual" sent chills through me.. As apalling as Trump was, I do have to give him one thing.. He was so bad that he awoke the political dissasfaction in America to the extent that more Americans paid attention.. The majority against him..Hopefully this re engagement will stick..😷
@basilfawlty89 I don't care what sex, religion, or color our officials are. I do care if they are qualified and can do the job. I wouldn't trust those two morons to run a bingo hall!
