Bernie Sanders/AOC the best and only acceptable team.

@Gloomy for dog catchers
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Gloomy did you go to bernie's talk where he destroys capitalism.....on!y $95 😉

Not sure if AOC-IA is available. Think she has scheduled herself in for fake arrest. Or is she at a ball with a super expensive gown saying "tax the rich" whilst masked slaves look on?
Gloomy · F
@gol979 Charging (that much) money for a speech against Capitalism is stupid I agree. But still he is the best option for the US.
At least he is aware of some serious flaws in the system.

His positions are closer to Social Democracy than to Socialism.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Gloomy no hes not. Clinton spied on his campaign and he then endorsed her. He blows with the wind, at best. No politician has your best interests at heart let alone "represent" you......and if they did, they wouldnt be a politician. Its a small club and we arent invited

We dont need these scrotes ruling over us
Gloomy · F
@gol979 I would rather see scientists and experts of certain fields in politics.
The US has an elitist system for sure and it's not even a real democracy. We won't be free of politicians but the system in which they operate could and should be different.
I only support Bernie cause there are no more politicians to his left.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy Bernie had his shot in 2020. He was perfectly comfortable letting the Dems use him to bring in people like you, then when he was no longer useful, he quietly conceded, backed the Dem nominee and kept all that money that people like you gave him which you could ill afford.

Don't fall for it again, he's a fraud and a lapdog for Corporate Democrats like Joe Biden.
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster I don't fall for it and I think both parties are shitty. What about all the money that poor uneducated people threw at Trump? At least Bernies positions on many topics are worth something.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy
I don't fall for it
🤨

You don't fall for it??? You are literally promoting him for President for 2024.
What about all the money that poor uneducated people threw at Trump
What about them? Are you saying you identify with them because Bernie treated his supporters in a similar manner?
At least Bernies positions on many topics are worth something.
Absolutely, sure. But sadly, he has no intention of doing anything about those ideas other than sitting back and hoping the Corporate Dems decide to run with them and I just don't see that happening do you? Seems like all that matters is the war machine...
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster I can't even vote in the states and I think the democracy in the US is worth shit. I would love to see the whole system go down. Ideology wise Bernie is the best out of a wide range of shitty candidates.

No but pointing to Bernie you have to acknowledge that Trump does the same thing.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Gloomy trump and sanders are 2 wings of the same bird......and that bird is called "the illusion of democracy". They have to keep us mostly in the grotesque game.

Again, these parasites do not have our best interest at heart. And if the argument is going to be, "well its the lesser of 2 evils"......you are still endorsing and consenting to "evil"
Gloomy · F
@gol979 I'd also support a communist revolution but that doesn't sound plausible. What's your solution?
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy
No but pointing to Bernie you have to acknowledge that Trump does the same thing
I don't "have to" acknowledge anything.

I would say all Politicians are liars to an extent and that would include Trump...but also Obama, Clinton, Macron, Trudeau, whoever is the leader of the UK this week...
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster Sure they are but stating that without alternatives in mind or a different vision is pointless.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy Is it? I'd rather not waste time supporting someone I know is a fraud and has no intention of fulfilling the promises they make.

I think Americans could easily come together on common issues and demand better representation. I don't have a bullet proof plan but some things would include:

Demanding a fair and informative media. This is problem #1 in America, we now have a media that serves as the mouthpiece for the powers that be, they aren't challenging our leaders, instead they disseminate the administrations propaganda.

Common problems and common solutions. We have been dicking around on issues for decades like illegal immigration, climate change/renewable energy, campaign finance reform, health care for all....these are problems all of us face and there are solutions to all but its never undertaken because all we do is elect some losers, complain about them for 2-4 years, then elect a whole new brand of losers.
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster I don't really support Bernie. I merely stated that he is the best if you want to vote. I don't live in the US but have spent a lot of time there so I am interested in its politics.

Politicians only talk and at times even make existing problems worse so that they can win votes by selling solutions they will never implement. That's how elites stay in power. Republicans and Democrats are both capitalist shit parties only that one party does not openly foster hatred.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy
only that one party does not openly foster hatred.
Oh is that right? The Democrats don't openly foster hatred?

What about Trump supporters? People who refused to get vaccinated? People who think transgenderism is a mental illness? Right wing pundits, politicians and celebrities?
I don't live in the US but have spent a lot of time there so I am interested in its politics.
Ugh, why am I not surprised?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Gloomy local communities, decentalised.....who knows the area better than local people. This mass democracy or communism is all about centralisation of power and imo those systems will always end up oppressing people who dont fit/conform
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster Yeah those people you listed spread hate and are objectively wrong and pieces of shit. Like it's been proven that being trans is not categorized as a mental illness and that transition and social acceptance is a treatment for gender dysphoria.
Right wingers make life worse and their policies are cynical and full of hate.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy Get bent loser.
Right wingers make life worse and their policies are cynical and full of hate
The left does the same. It's behavior, its not being on the correct side of things. You have no idea where the whole transgender movement is going, its looking more and more like a fad, not a movement. I see it as a dead end but time will tell.

If you truly care about American politics and want to make a difference, why don't you emigrate here, become a citizen and do what you feel is correct?

In the meantime, I disregard such people and their opinions because you are just as bad as the people you hate.

Do better.
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster Because the system is fucked.

Also I adhere to the Paradox of Tolerance therefore I don't consider myself as bad as the people I hate. If we let the intolerant have a voice tolerance destroys itself.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy
I adhere to the Paradox of Tolerance
Fantastic. Never heard that before but wow, what a way to excuse your intolerance and hatred...essentially you are saying you are better than those with whom you disagree and they don't deserve your respect or tolerance...you know what? Don't come here, we don't need more people like you....
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster Yes I am better because I don't advocate for policies that make life for homeless people, workers, trans people or people of color worse. A disagreement on how to make society better would be alright but nothing Conservatives or even Democrats sometimes argue would improve the life of other people.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy Well I have nothing further to say other than this is a defeatist and loser attitude and I am sorry you have been conditioned to feel that way.

If that is truly how you feel, why bother engaging at all? It's not like you believe anything will change....
