@Elessar There's no legal requirement to waiver my right to public healthcare under the Australian medicare system based on Covid vaccine status. I pay for my access to Medicare annually via the levy that all working australians pay. My employer never attempted to mandate Covid vax (because it would cripple the national transport operation that my employer runs). The NSW RFS did in July this year try to mandate Covid vax for all of it emergency service volunteers but as of last week has 'walked back' away from that mandate. The Mandate still exists but it's now 'waived' for volunteers but however I won't be going back.

People are free to make their own choice about covid vaccines in regard to whether they get them or not, except in Israel. I follow the science which says while they are technically great products in terms of how when you through enough dollars at something a solution magically appears (remember that the outcome of science often mirrors the views of those who funded the research), but they have always been the incorrect weapon to fight the war (those are words spoken by a lot of pre-eminent experts) and the ramped up rates of immune escape, re-infection, and simply the stats about covid cases don't match with the claimed view of how the unvaccinated cohort is the primary vector of transmission. That's been shown again and again to be wrong.

No such thing as a "C19 virus family". COVID is a disease and SARS-CoV-2 is the virus. "Betacoronaviruses" is the family, and there's no cross protection from one virus to another, in other words this vaccine won't keep your a$s safe from SARS-CoV-1 in case it shows its ugly face again.

Huh? People who recovered from infection get reinfected just as easily, if not more easily. No coronavirus grants perpetual protection, it's also why you catch colds every winter. And you did since long before COVID was a thing.

Rather, I'll tell you more, I've fallen sick far less frequently (all the primary + booster doses) than my colleagues over the last few years, even accounting for every disease not even just COVID. I've taken at most 7 days off from work due to sickness in the last three years. No one I know in my city of 100k people, >90% fully vaccinated, has reported a difference in how often they get sick. No matter how many doses they've received.

No, they evade immunity from past variants and vaccine as well. I know personally people who contracted Delta soon after having recovered from Alpha (no vaccines available at the time). And people who contracted Omicron over and over, even after recovering from Omicron. Some of whom are at their 4th rodeo.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Given that the jab in part reduces your immune system the 99.7% survivability of the unvaxed drops to around 95% among the vaxed. I am presently amazed at the number of sick people who are off work because of covid who are fully vaxed. Rarely do I hear of anyone unvaxed off work fighting covid.
