The News? Is it broadcast any more?

Fox, CNN and MSNBC claim to be a s refer to themselves as news how they are all actually opinion / entertainment programs. People watch them because the viewer is seeking reinforcement of his or her worldview or to be persuaded to adopt a particular worldview. Watching any is an abdication of one’s independent thought process.
not just opinions...... really bad ones.

I sometimes watch The Five on Fox. Yes, still slanted, but they make sure to have one lefty on the panel every day.

Actual journalism is a dying art. Op-ed driven news outlets are cancer, and news 'reporters' are the tumors.

Yes, the Nazi inspired propaganda is working.
Not wrong, although it is kind of ironic because you do the same thing yourself on a regular basis.

On the flipside all of these networks are dying. They are fighting over a viewership that are in "God's waiting room."

You would be considered a young viewer for any of these networks.

Why limit it to those 3? All broadcast news has been entertainment first since the FCC relaxed its Fairness Doctrine and 60 Minutes proved you could make news profitable by treating it as entertainment.
I’ve given up on watching the national international news. I still watch the local community stuff for things going on in my area. Everyone beyond that can just take care of themselves.
What would you suggest as an alternative, though?

David Muir World News on ABC is pretty good. @MistyCee
@jackjjackson I'll check him out. I really last remember him from Katrina and stopped even flipping through ABC news when our local affiliate went downhill.
The news is still broadcast, just not in the US.

It's all to sell ad time.
