Nice poem. I can not agree on this. I love the sunshine and warmth. I love the greenness of Summer. I love listening to the Hummingbirds fly by. I love the colors of my pretty flowers. I love going and picking a fresh tomato. But Winter is for resting and quiet moments by the fire. I'll buy that!
I am a summer girl, born in July. I love the long cool nights. The longer humid days. The sun on my skin. Upon my face. Gardening is a joy. Hiking too. Autumn comes soon and quickly followed by the cold. I can wait for that cold beauty.

@MorriganoftheNight Sitting inside on a cold snowy night, just sitting by a warm fireplace or wood stove. So cozy. Rustic perhaps but I do love the heat of a wood fire, as well as the smell of it. It reminds me of something from another life but I don't know what.
@pdqsailor1 the cold months are not to be avoided. In fact, more people prefer the colder months than the hotter months. You’d be surprised how many people disagree with you, and fervently at that
@SW-User I have air conditioning in my home, my cars and my boat.. and I like to sail.. Its difficult to sail in Winter.. so you go ahead and freeze, get into your winter coat and gloves and boots and shovel snow to your hearts delight.. Winter sucks it really is that simple...
