Darker nights already

I have noticed that it's getting darker earlier, will be sad to see summer go so going to make the best of August.
I have loved summer so far with the nice weather, earning a bit of money and having days out.

I have noticed it, if only because we have a hallway light on a timer set back it June so is now 15 minutes late coming on in the evening.

Still, there plenty of summer left and September can be a lovely time of year anyway.

I like summer, despite the terrible heat. Shorter days are a problem because we play golf at 6:45 in the morning, and it won't be long before it's still dark at that time.

@Cinderellagirl Jam is one thing I have never managed to get the hang of. I freeze them in small boxes and stew with apple for crumbles and pies.

As someone who lives in Florida, summer can't be over soon enough. For us that's not until like December or January most years
