Florida criminalized homelessness there are shelters but many could face new criminal penalties. Local homeless advocates say there are countless questions and rumors circulating
about how the new law will be interpreted and enforced in the wake of climate disasters.☹

@bookerdana Interesting. I suspect there will be rather less enthusiasm to enforce legal penalties if homelessness becomes widespread and not confined to the poor and unemployed.

Probably the only time homeless people have access to free shelter, transportation, food and water is during a hurricane.

The same place the poor and those with nowhere to go, go. Nowhere is the answer, they have to ride it out and Florida doesn't give a hoot about them.

There are likely homeless outreach programs etc that have coordinated busses out of town or something like that.

Where does anyone vulnerable go?
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Sadly, I expect they will fall beneath most peoples' radars.

Safety has been precluded by the ownership. Look around. You voted to have no options.
