Can you use used coffee grounds for the garden?

It seems a shame to waste it if can. I know yea leaves can be used on the frangipani.

It’s specially good for roses. If you have dark red or black rose, makes it more darker. I have used coffee grounds and tea leaves for years.
Old depleted or left over soda and beer is good for plants too.
Apparently..
I spread pot ash for an experiment. Makes no real visible difference.
I suspect the same with used coffee..

Yes! I understand the caffeine is toxic for most insects.
Always ask your flowers if they take their coffee with cream and sugar.

Yes. There is a cooperative in my city that collects coffee grounds from offices and uses them to grow mushrooms.

Yeah I'm sure I've heard of people doing that

Yes you can. They provide much needed nitrogen.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@Confined do you have to dig it into the soil? Or spread on top and water it in?
Confined · 56-60, M
@Thevy29 no. I just spread it around. The rain washes it into the soil.
I mix them with the compost I make in the garden
Best use for them ..
Yes, if you're growing acid-loving plants.

Yes

Coffee grounds contain minerals like nitrogen, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium, which are important for plant growth
