If you're not supposed to feed gremlins after midnight, does it matter what time zone and is daylight savings figured into it?

Asking all the right questions!
Elessar · 26-30, M
Biology doesn't typically care about timezones but local time only. So, technically, you shouldn't feed them when it's night according to the local time where the gremlin is at 😜
@Elessar
Okay

And at what point does "after midnight" stop and "next day" start!
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@BarbossasHusband That's a good question. I never thought about that. If you feed a gremlin at 6:00 a.m., is that still technically "after midnight"?

Perhaps their bodies are immediately adapted to local time. Circadian rhythm.

All of the above. Be careful.

Excellent questions 🤔

And how long after midnight? You could argue that it’s always after midnight.

People started asking about this in the second movie, but they never settled on a satisfactory answer. Like, what if the gremlin is on a plane flying east across the United States at 11:00 p.m., and he's eating a chicken leg, but then he passes from Pacific time into Central Time, so now it's midnight and he's still eating? Is the change instantaneous, or does it account for jet lag?

Better yet, what if a gremlin is traveling west on an airplane, and it's midnight where he's coming from, but then the plane crosses over a time zone and it's 11:00? Can the gremlin safely eat now?
