It has to be the fall colors. Even looking down my own street, every year the colors are a little different. Lucky for me, this year we have a lot of color on the street where I live.

Next would be the fall celebrations such as Thanksgiving and the variety of foods we have to choose from.

Separate question - why is it called Fall?

We call it Autumn from the Roman name for the season autumnus.

@AdmiralPrune I am not sure really why we call it fall. Could be the falling temps, falling leaves, crops turning brown and their fruits either falling from their branches or the vegetable plants dying and the vegetables lowering towards the ground.

Could be the fall of the Roman empire was in Autumn but who knows?

I bet a google search would answer that question for you though!
