Would you still drink milk if you had to milk the cow yourself?

Fairydust · F
Drinking milk makes me want to gag. 🤮

I do love cheese though.

I need to start planting my own food.

I worked on a dairy farm years ago and did A LOT of milking. I did drink that milk until I was noticing how poorly the cattle were treated. I quit drinking milk and haven't had any since.

Knowing how lazy I am, and gauging by the fact that I will not have fruit if someone doesn't slice it or juice it for me, I'd say: NO. 😭

.....was delivering milk in the neighborhood as usual.

When a blonde answered the door, she told the milkman to follow her to the bath-tub.

Then she took of her clothes and asked the milk-man to fill the tub with milk.

The milk-man said: "Do you want the milk pasteurized?"

And the blonde replied: "No, just up to my boobs. I can splash it in my eyes."
Might even drink it fresh then

Assuming I'm not drinking the actual milk I got straight from a cow, then yes, I'd still drink milk if I had to milk cows!
I have milked cows, many times, my foster home was on a small independent dairy farm in the late mid 80's (late October 1986 to early January 1987), fresh raw milk for meals and fresh raw cream on cereal, is a major game changer. It also took me two weeks to acclimate to it as my digestive system wasn't used to it. After I went to my group home I only wanted whole 3.8% milk, 2% tasted flat and lifeless after drinking the raw unpastuerized stuff for roughly three and a half months, whole milk came the closest, buf half and half was too heavy to drink all the time.
