@WintaTheAngle yup!
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@caPnAhab Haha, that's awesome.
Are you an American
… or an American’t?

WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Shite film but good one liners
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout sorry. All I can tell you is Danny Trejo
I truly wish that would catch on. It makes much more sense. Everyone from Northern Canada to Chile and the Falklands can legitimately say they "live in America".

@JimboSaturn who was it lol was it swirlie? She's one to act a fool over nonsense
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@deadgerbil What? how did you know that? I'm impressed.
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
@JimboSaturn she has earned that reputation lol I think I got her to block me after calling out her on her bs
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
I don't quite follow.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@caPnAhab I see, the joke relies on "United Statian" being more posh (ironically, a Britishism that I think has successfully jumped the pond). I got you now! 😶‍🌫️

@caPnAhab But there are no star spangled flags in his eyes, or flying from his head; and wasn't Poo English anyway? Maybe he stowed away on the Queen Mary.

Anyway, as a specialist in weird wordy jokes that nobody 'gets' I'm seriously disgruntled that I didn't get this one! - which I admire now that it's explained but still good.

caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@iamonfire696 nope 👍 all is civil here.

No deleted replies for me though
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@caPnAhab I should hope not since it’s your post 🤭
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@iamonfire696 yes thats the goal!

Calling people from the USA - and only them - Americans is a bit of a tricky subject.

Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@FeetAreFantastic No really. It's just the name that became popular.
empanadas · 31-35, M
Literally how we call Americans in Spanish
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@empanadas actually? How does it sound in spanish?
empanadas · 31-35, M
@caPnAhab the proper term is estadounidense taught in schools but everyday Spanish, people just say Americano
