What's the best thing about being English ?

A thousand years of recorded history.
Belief in the underdog.
Sarcasm. Knowing that most things (good or bad) can be laughed off.
Football; Cricket; Rugby. - We may not be the best at them but they can bring a nation together.
The NHS.
The countryside and royal parks.
The coastline.
Amazing variety of wild animals and plants.
Cadbury chocolate

Our humour. Other countries don’t get it. We have such fun.

I’m not English, but you have the best words, excellent humor, a pleasant accent, and I like what appear to be basic differences of simple things from what I’ve gleaned.

They have a better starting point than people from cheaper, poorer countries so they can travel more easily if they want to.
