Yeah! Love pop music - not sure how it’s really defined, but my faves are Tears for Fears, The Police, and a veritable ton of others. I love music 🎶

Sure, 80s pop wasn't all that bad. Early 2000s had some good stuff as well. I like A-ha, Alphaville, Duran Duran, Dido, Texas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park is okay, later also Lana Del Rey..

If I had to pick one then it would be Alphaville.

Pop is a really broad term--technically, The Beatles are pop. But I'll use it to mean "current" pop music. Much to my surprise, I've found myself liking some songs by Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and even Miley.

I don't really have a favorite, they're all decent, most of them are produced by either Jack Antonoff or Dan Nigro. It might be product, but I like it, kinda like a McDonald's meal.

80s pop music was the dogs bollocks. As was 90s dance music.

But since the advent of Nu metal in the late 90s, that’s been my jam ever since.

I have no idea what pop even is these days. Unless you mean K-pop, and in that case it’s BlackPink. But my playlist is approaching 2000 songs from most genres over the last 85 years, so there’s bound to be some pop music in there somewhere 🤷‍♂

How embarrassing - yeah...from the old days Abba, Madonna, KC and the Sunshine band etc...just last night I was listening to some Yes, and then listened to this one and was tempted to post here and thought, naah, this is way too pop-ish...

I don't know. There's lots of music called pop that is not in my opinion.
Tears for Fears is one good example. Truly POP? No way.

I can't think of one. I don't even like Michael Jackson's Beat It.
