What are your favorite bands/musicians?

I personally love The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, Blue Oyster Cult, Queen, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Kansas, Yes, Rush, Styx, Boston, Journey, Heart, Electric Light Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac, The Bangles, John Mellencamp, UFO, Uriah Heep, Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, The Cars, Budgie, Ted Nugent, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana, The Doors, The Kinks, The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Simon & Garfunkel, Montrose, Van Halen, Matchbox 20, Foo Fighters, M83, Sigur Ros, Mozart, Beethoven, John Williams, Johnny Cash, Mississippi John Hurt, Israel Kamaka'wiwo'ole, Weird Al, and Brandi Carlisle. I have kind of a diverse taste.
I’d say 80% of the music that I have gets no commercial radio airplay. Especially since instrumentals are what interests me the most. The music grabs me usually before the vocals.

I like stuff like Boredoms,The Shaggs,Test Dept,dubs,steppas,uneasy listening.

I have every African Head Charge release on vinyl and am leaving instructions to heap it all on my funeral pyre so the celebrants get a big heap of chemical fumes to add to the festivities. I like music too too much.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
I enjoy many of those (my all-time favorite band was Cream)....but not a big fan of Rush, Styx, M83 or Sigur Ros.
I’m also a big fan of Jimmy Buffett, Three Dog Night, Andrew Gold, Jake Shimabukuro, BB King, Buddy Guy, Walter Trout, Samantha Fish, Alan Parsons and Al Stewart among others.
