I'm sure you've seen the John Wick series.
Those as well as the Bond Movies and the Indiana jones Movies are great
Just about anything with Jason Statham, Mel Gibson and Vin Diesel are fabulous.
I don't think 'Action' movies get any better then those, do you? :)

@laurieluvsit That John Wick series was sick. I had no idea it would be that good until I saw it. Figured it was overhyped. Constantine I felt the same too.

Um... Might be out of left field but Escape from New York or its sequel Escape from LA.
The director also did "They Live" which fits a few of your genres.
Good humor, good action and lovable characters in a very brutal setting.

@Thrust Its bloody good! Believe it or not, I only found out about it and watched it because I liked Rowdy Roddy Pipers podcast he did before his passing. He talked about it with John Carpenter on there. Apparently, Piper made him give money to the gangs in the area so the camera equipment wouldn't be stolen.

@twistedrope The Warriors had to do the same when they shot in Coney Island. And they never could wear the colors oitside the set

The Thing. Both the one from the 80s and the Prequel from 2011. Do the later one first..they do an excellent transition into the older one.
