Obnoxious commercials
Are there any commercials that irritated you so much that you decided to avoid the product or service being advertised because of that commercial or ad campaign? If so, which ones?

I see so few commercials that they are only passing irritants and I rapidly forget them.
Brand names are a different matter. I stopped buying "Marathon" bars when the manufacturers pointlessly re-named them "Snickers".
Horses "snicker" - a sort of equine giggle - or it could be the name of some fancy plimosll intended to impress teenagers.

They are all irritating.
But also so unmemorable as to have a neglible effect.
A fun game to play with the family is 'Guess The Product'.
Mute the advert and try to work out what is being sold.
It's sometimes trickier than you'd think...

Yes. One that come to mind right off, is the MyPillow commercials. I found them very annoying long before the man became known as a rabid Trump supporter and election "fraud" blow-hard.

@NativePortlander1970 I’d forgotten about that, but I do remember now that you mention it. Seems like it was effortless for him to play a douchebag in those commercials.
