David Blaine

His levitating acts are unsettling. David Copperfield's stunts where astounding, but lacked the otherworldly quality Blaine seems to bring.

The levitation stuff has already been explained. But I think it was with Criss Angel cause he did the levitation/flying. It was a harness with wires, that's why you always see him flying against a sky, so it's harder to see the wires. And most of his stuff was pre planned with all actors.

David Blaine is just doing stuff that's already well known. I have to say when I first saw it I was shocked, once I learned it was all the same magic and nothing special I stopped watching.

David Copperfield is still the best I think.

Never saw this guy

The one where he appears to poke an ice pick through his arm - he really is just sticking it through his arm.

he's stupefyingly good but there's something irritating about him

I'm not really Into magic

The only thing he couldn't magic himself out of was brain damage from that sub zero trick

I find his manner a lil offputting but he's damn good at what he does.
