That movie lacked substance and basically was a rehash on estrogen. Like many similar thematic approaches you see in contemporary hero films today with a Mary Sue character lacking any real depth, character development, or appealing qualities. The script takes a one dimensional approach while the storyline and believability suffer. The first movie that I've fallen asleep to, right there in the theater, in a long time.
The fourth installment was better with a decent story to tell and some relatable fear, dread, and hope to convey. A good popcorn flick. But after that, it was just straight downhill at the box office while dragging the Terminator image and good name through mud. In summary, if there is another installment I'll wait for it to quickly go to Netflix and then...
...Not rent it.
