I feel Star Wars could maintain two timelines.

I love Star Wars especially first six movies plus the Expanded Universe (now called Legends). I feel a way to fix the franchise is two let it have two alternate but equal timelines one would be for Legends and one for Disney's canon. The only thing these two universes could have in common are the Original and Prequel Trilogies everything outside those movies events and stories become much different depending on what timeline they are in. They don't have to have crossovers where Legends Luke meets Disney canon Luke, just let there be two timelines for fans to enjoy.

At this point I feel like they should just reboot it after the 3rd movie. the original actors from 4 through 6 are to old or died. So they would have to re cast them

Multiverses? Darth vader defeats luke world or skywalker is raised by darth? Do you envision a sliders esque kinda thing? Multiple choice timelines. String theory? Or sort of bizarroworld kinda thing?

@jehova I mean just at least two parallel universes where the first six movies are the only things they have in common, one universe would have the original expanded universe (now called Legends) while the other would have the stories in Disney's canon.
