Everybody loves Raymond
Neuman · M
@WaryWitchWandering I didn't watch lots of it, but I liked what I saw. a little bit of an odd kinda show.

Night Court. The original — I haven't seen the revival.
Neuman · M
@DunningKruger the old one was great. the reload ... meh it was too much of a "remember when this was good?". they also did a complete 180 on the "dan" character... it made no sense

Seinfeld

@DrawntoaDistance the show about nothing. most of it was quite good. had a really disappointing end, tho.

5 of them
I Love Lucy
The Honeymooners
Cheers
Seinfeld
Frasier
The best line out of all of those shows, imho, wasn't funny in the least. It wasn't meant to be but it said it all about a certain friendship:
In The Honeymooners episode "Pal O' Mine," when confronted after pretending he isn't close with his best friend, Ralph Kramden delivers the classic line: "What I say about Norton is one thing, how I feel about him is another."

FIBBER McGEE AND MOLLY -- the radio version

@Neuman Probably not seen -- it's a radio show that ran from the 1930s to around 1960. Sitcoms -- and detective shows, and soap operas, etc., etc, -- existed long before TV and were basically adapted from one medium to the other. Early TV sitcoms like OZZIE AND HARRIET, FATHER KNOWS BEST, BEULAH, AMOS 'N' ANDY, JACK BENNY, LIFE OF RILEY, OUR MISS BROOKS were all originally radio shows.

@ChipmunkErnie oh, I purchased some recordings on tape back in the day. seen in a catalog and heard thereafter.
